He is one of only four coaches in NFL history to have led two different teams to the Super Bowl and the first in history to guide four different teams to the playoffs. Parcells has had 13 winning seasons and ten playoff berths. His 183 career victories leave him with more winnings than any active coach in the NFL. He is a two-time NFL Coach-of-the-Year.

Parcells' head coaching career began in the NFL with the New York Giants in 1983. In just three short years he was honored with the NFL Coach of the Year Award having led his team to a Super Bowl victory. He received the honor again in 1986.
Parcells is one of only three coaches who can claim two Super Bowl Championships (XXl and XXV with the Giants).
He made his third Super Bowl appearance (XXXl) in 1996 with the New England Patriots and led the New York Jets to the 1998 AFC Championship game.
His teams have finished either first or second in their division 13 times.
Over his career, Bill Parcells has accumulated a 183-138-1 career record.
Born in 1941, Bill Parcells enjoys family time with his three adult daughters, Suzy, Dallas, Jill and his grandchildren.
Parcells' playing resume lists quarterback at River Dell High in Oradell , New Jersey and linebacker at Colgate and Wichita State. He was also an excellent high school baseball and basketball player.
Parcells has authored three books, "The Final Season: My Last Year as Head Coach in the NFL", "Finding a Way to Win" and "Parcells: Autobiography of the Biggest Giant of All."
Parcells has worked as a football analyst for NBC Sports, ESPN and Sporting News Radio. Most recently, he signed a four-year contract with the Miami Dolphins to become the team's executive vice president of football operations.
